Established in 1931 NTS is the conservation charity that protects and promotes Scotland's natural and cultural heritage. James Spence Watson is the current LI Scotland representative on NTS Council.
The Scottish Landscape Forum was established by SNH with the support of the Scottish Government in June 2006. It brings together some of the key stakeholders with an influence upon or stake in the state of the landscape. Rebecca Rylott represents LI Scotland on the forum and several LIS members also attend the forum.
The Glasgow Urban Design Panel was set up by the City Council to comment and make recommendations on selected major development proposals either at a preliminary or planning application stage, usually following presentations by the designers and developers concerned. James Spence Watson is the current LI representative on the Glasgow Urban Design Panel.
