BURA Award Winners

BURA have unveiled the winners of its 2008 Awards for Best Practice in Regeneration. After three rounds of rigorous assessment, a panel of experts chose five exemplary projects out of over one hundred others. These projects represent professionals and communities at the forefront of best practice, pushing innovative ideas and focused problem solving to effectively address the challenges that exist in the UK’s town and cities today.

The winning projects are Bishop’s Square, Spitalfields, De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-Sea, Fort Dunlop, Birmingham, Royal Arsenal, Woolwich and Shetland Museum & Archives, Lerwick.

The BURA Awards for Best Practice in Regeneration will be presented at a ceremony at Leeds Town Hall on 25 November 2008.
