TeamBuild 2008 - deadline for registration 15 August

Ambitious young professionals who are under 30 have until August 15th to register a team for this year’s TeamBuild.
The competition is based on a real masterplan and takes teams of 6 through all stages of design and construction. Judges are typically senior members of the major building institutions and the emphasis is on communication, collaboration and teamwork.
Nick Thompson of RIBA has been a judge for several years, and he describes the competition as “A mix of intensive professional team building and helpless laughter, relentless professionalism and terminal panic, with the judges learning as much as the competitors…".
No money is required for the initial stage but if the team is selected for the weekend finals then the fee is only £1500 for all 6 people. This includes all accommodation and food over the weekend. Since this event counts for 4 days worth of CPD this is extremely good value for money.
