Chilterns Landscape Design Awards 2008

The Chilterns Landscape Design Award scheme encourages and rewards high quality design and management of special landscape features in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

This year the deadline for entries is 17 August 2008.

The Award scheme is open to a wide variety of landscape design projects and can include:

• Landscaping of new or existing houses, car parks and other developments
• Creation of new features such as tree avenues, wetland features and parkland
• The siting of new features and structures in the landscape
• Management of landscapes including fields, hedges and woods

In judging the entries the panel of experts will consider:

• Quality of design and use of materials
• Quality of workmanship
• The impact on and contribution to the wider landscape of the Chilterns AONB
