Future Vision 2008

The Academy for Sustainable Communities is calling for entries for Future Vision 2008, the student awards which champion bright ideas for creating better places for people. Last year, landscape students scooped three of the six Future Vision awards, including overall winner.
There are five categories in this years awards
-Future building – new designs that improve the way buildings serve the community
-Future people – innovative projects or services that include people from all walks of life
-Future space – new ways to maximise the use of space in communities
-Future streets – plans for streets that enhance the lives of residents
-Future work – ideas for schemes that improve the way a community works or is run
Winners receive £1000 cash prize and an all expenses paid four week placement with a leading organisation operating in the sustainable communities sector. The closing date for entries is 29 February 2008.
