The London Development Agency has shortlisted six candidates to create the masterplan for the 2012 Olympics' regeneration legacy

Three consortiums and three companies were selected from 34 submissions by a panel comprising the LDA, Olympic Delivery Authority and Design for London.
The successful applicant will produce the physical framework for new homes, parkland, schools, health facilities, infrastructure and work space in the Lower Lea Valley, east London.
The selected six candidates now have six weeks to set out their approach to the project, with the winner announced about a month after that.
The winner will work with the Greater London Authority, Transport for London and the Lea Valley Regional Park authority on the project.
