Transforming Tate Modern Competition
6th August 2007
Submissions are being invited for tender for a major landscape architecture scheme which will form part of the Transforming Tate Modern project.
The scheme, which is advertised on the European Landscape Architecture website, will provide improved public spaces and pedestrian routes around the Tate Modern.
More than 1350 new trees will be planted and new seating provided.
The deadline for submitting applications is August 30, with the scheme due to be completed by the end of 2011.
Operators are expected to have experience of working with large scale public buildings, working in arts and culture, and in regeneration and cities.
