Hazardous waste needs to be better handled says Mayor
01st Feb 2007The Mayor of London today (1st February) revealed that each year the equivalent of up to 1500 waste collection vehicles filled with hazardous waste from households, such as pesticides, chemicals and paint are being dumped in landfill sites or incinerated in London.
