Grounds for Optimism launches

The Solent Centre for Architecture and Design, Kent Architecture Centre, Learning through Landscapes and the Hampshire County Council Schools Landscape Programme in partnership with the Landscape Institute have launched Grounds for Optimism – a competition open to secondary schools across the South East and the Yorkshire and Humberside regions with the potential for the winning designs to become reality.

Landscape Institute Position Statement on Climate Change – An Update
01st May 2008Thank you to all those who participated in the recent consultation on the Landscape Institute’s Position Statement on Climate Change. We received almost 200 responses which is very encouraging and indicative of the depth of interest in this important area of work. Our Climate Change conference, which was held at Bristol Zoo on the 25th April, provided an additional opportunity for us to gather views on the statement.
