Japanese Gardens Seminar

This seminar, which takes place between 16 and 28 November 2008, is aimed at all those who are interested in Japanese garden art and Japanese garden construction and who want to attain knowledge and experience in a concise manner and in a short time.

The seminar is a unique combination of intensive lectures each morning and intensive workshops each afternoon; consequently it provides an exceptional opportunity to simultaneously study Japanese garden art and gain experience in Japanese garden construction. At the end of this seminar, all participants will have gained a deep understanding of the history and development of the Japanese garden, including the philosophical and religious background of the gardens, and will have mastered practical skills and methods from practical experience in the workshops, that can then be turned to the development of business opportunities in their home countries.
