This conference is the central part of the Branch’s ‘International’ theme for the year.

Speakers include-

  • Sibylla Hartel - Associate Director, Gustafson Porter
  • Sibylla will talk about some of Gustavson Porter’s exciting projects in the Middle East and the UK and part of her talk will focus on the different cultural considerations that have to be taken into account.

  • Michael Schwarze-Rodrian - Director of Emscher Park, Germany
  • Michael will speak about two decades of the groundbreaking work carried out at the Emscher Park in the Ruhr region, the former industrial heartland of Western Germany, where the concept of a “landscape park” has been used to drive regeneration.
