Conference to improve public realm schemes

  • 25 Nov 2009 |

The AJ, in association with the LI, is hosting a one-day conference on public realm schemes on 10 February 2010.

AJ’s Landscape and the Public Realm conference aims to help you improve your public realm schemes. Landscape professionals will discover how local authorities go about maintaining public spaces in their care, and how you can design with maintenance in mind to ensure the built scheme lasts the tests of time. Plus, you can find out more about the lessons which have been learned at the BRE Innovation Park and discover how Green Infrastructure can be incorporated into urban public realm designs.

The top three reasons to attend:

  1. Landscape and the Public Realm is the only landscape conference which draws the disciplines of masterplanning, urban design, landscape architecture and ecology together under one roof to share knowledge and information
  2. Benefit from extended technical sessions covering a variety of pressing industry issues including; how public space can be included in the masterplan at an earlier stage, managing and planning green infrastructure, and designing with maintenance in mind
  3. Drill down into the detail of creating green roofs and walls at our in-depth pre-conference seminar
