New reference guide published

Any landscape architects asking questions in their day-to-day role can now refer to a handy new guide.

The Landscape Architect’s Pocket Book covers all the major topics, including planning, legislation, hard and soft landscape.

As well as having the answers to everyday queries on British standards and procedures, the book also contains a glossary of key terms. Its pages of calculations and contacts will also provide help for anyone seeking information, such as useful websites and further publications.

The Landscape Architect’s Pocket Book is written by Head of Landscape Architecture in Glasgow multi-disciplinary practice Austin-Smith: Lord Siobhan Vernon, with Rachel Tennant and Nicola Garmory, directors of TGP Landscape Architects. It is published by Elsevier.
