Publication stresses that a holistic approach is essential if people are to appreciate a town's benefits are more than the eco-features.
The TCPA believe that promoting the right housing offer for eco-towns means emphasising factors such as access to infrastructure planning, equity and land values.
“We want to see attractive and excellent homes that will appeal to all as much for their utility, location and setting as for their green credentials,” said TCPA chief executive Gideon Amos. “Providing homes of choice in eco-towns will be crucial to raising aspirations for the planning of all new development.”
