The Landscape Institute has teamed up with Open House to create a London landscape map in good time for the Open House event in September.

Included in the map are green improvement projects in locations such as Lewisham and the London 2012 Olympic Park. Other listed projects include Northala Fields, Alexandra Palace, the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich and Dalston’s Eastern Curve. The map, which can be downloaded here, is separated into the different areas of London and a letter code defines specific landscape projects.

The annual Open House event provides a unique opportunity to see London’s great architecture, with over 700 buildings opening their doors to the public for free. This year’s event takes place on 17 and 18 September. and will attract approximately 600,000 people. A full guide can be found on the Open House website.

Paul Lincoln, director of policy and communications at the Landscape Institute, said: “I am delighted to say that this year there will be an excellent set of guided tours and 50 projects with landscape content, all of which are specially highlighted in the guide.”
