After a strong response to calls for nominations, there are three Honorary Officer roles open for election and 17 candidates for the seven corporate places on Council...
Such a response anticipates a tightly contested election and members are encouraged to exercise their right to vote and return completed ballot papers to the LI by 5pm on 31 May.

Three candidates have been elected unopposed to the two Licentiate and one Student places on Council*:
The formal declaration will take place at the first Council meeting in July 2011 with unofficial results published in June 2011.
*Unopposed election takes place as per the Landscape Institute Regulations when the same numbers of eligible nominations are received, as there are roles.
