Camlin Lonsdale becomes two firms

Landscape and urban design business Camlin Lonsdale has restructured

Camlin Lonsdale split

With effect from 1 August 2010 Camlin Londsdale’s Llangadfan studio in mid Wales will trade under the name Camlins, and will be managed by Robert Camlin, Paul Shirley Smith and Huw Morgan. Meanwhile, the Marsden studio in Yorkshire will continue to operate under the Camlin Lonsdale name and will be run by Jessica Bryne-Daniel and Xanthe Quayle.

The change reflects the success of both teams and their aim for clearer definition for their clients. The directors of the two limited companies have decided that the interests of both teams will best be served through independent practice.
The teams’ landmark projects to date have included: Standbrook Abbey, Regents Park Open Air Theatre and the British Embassy Bangkok, along with award winning public realm programmes for Liverpool, Belfast and Manchester.
Both businesses have launched refreshed web sites: http://www.camlins.com and http://www.camlinlonsdale.com
