Orange and Green is a transnational programme for individuals wishing to develop their knowledge and understanding of sustainable design and the built environment from a wider European viewpoint...
Participants will undertake a 13 week placement in a professional organisation in the Andalucian Region of Spain.
The aims of the Programme are to provide participants with an understanding of the impact the changing environment is having in southern Europe; to exchange information and ideas between built environment colleagues and policy makers from different cultures; and to explore how the ‘arts’ within different cultures can inform and effect the development of public spaces and the wider public realm
The programme is open to applications from those working in the built environment, be they in the fields of architecture, urban design, planning, surveying, transport, civil engineering, arts or others working in associated fields. There are 30 places available and the first 15 will be on placement from September – December 2011, with the remaining 15 on placement from January – March 2012.
Acceptance onto the programme includes flights, accommodation and an allowance for food and travel will be provided.
