Raise awareness of landscape design and share your pictures on social media

Join the World Landscape Architecture Month photocall

The Landscape Institute is encouraging members to take part in an international social media campaign organised by the American Society of Landscape Architects as part of April’s World Landscape Architecture Month.

The idea is to get people taking and sharing pictures of landscape design of all scales in order to raise awareness of the range of work done by landscape architects.

To take part download the ‘This is landscape architecture’ card, and include it in images to share on social media, using the hashtag #WLAM2016 and tagging the LI’s Twitter handle @talklandscape.

Last year’s campaign attracted photographs of children’s playgrounds, rooftop gardens, and other small spaces where the design input can often be overlooked by members of the public, as well as ecoparks, tourist attractions and waterfront megaschemes.

You can find more information about this year’s events on the American Society of Landscape Architects website and see some of last year’s images on the WLAM Facebook page.
