Retired Membership
Retired membership is for those who have previously held Chartered Membership or Fellowship of the Landscape Institute but who are no longer practising. Contact the Membership Officer for further details.
Benefits of Retired Membership include
- Landscape: Retired Membership includes subscription to the Landscape, the quarterly magazine for everyone interested in the transformation of landscape at whatever scale – the private garden, the public realm, major private and public developments, spatial planning, iconic or protected landscapes. It offers the latest thinking and analysis and full details of the best UK and international schemes in the living and built environment. eVista highlights upcoming competitions, awards, events and special offers.
- The LI archive and library: The library and archive are available to Retired Members. Please click here for more information.
- Publications, services and advice As a Retired Member you will have access to the password protected Members section of the LI website, giving you access to a wide range of services, including technical and practical advice, free LI publications.
- Branch membership Membership of the LI branch for your area, giving you access to professional and social networks, local events and seminars. You can also choose to link to a second branch if you wish – for example if you spend a significant part of your year at another address.
- Events Access to events run by the LI and its partners on the issues that matter most to you, including workshops, exhibitions, seminars, conferences and open days.
The subscriptions outlined below are for the membership year 01/06/11 to 31/05/12. Retired Membership is free to those over 70 years of age.
