Licentiate Membership

 

Licentiate membership is open to those who have completed their initial professional education and are actively on the Pathway to Chartership to achieve full Chartered (CMLI) status.

 

 

Licentiate Membership Subscription rates 2015-2016

The Member year starts on the 1st June to the 31st May. If you join part way through the year your rate will be pro-rata.

Eligibility

To be considered for approval of acceptance you are required to hold both an LI - accredited Undergraduate and Postgraduate course of study, or other EU or overseas course recognised by the LI.

The LI also recognises, the qualifications of graduates from programmes accredited or recognised by the following:

Alternatively, it is still possible to apply for Membership on completion of the ‘Licentiate Member of the Landscape Institute for those who have not completed an accredited course’ application form.

Your application will be submitted via our Member Panel who will judge the strength of your application based on both your work and academic experience. If the Member Panel approve your application you will be offered Licentiate membership of the LI and able to start the Pathway to Chartership.

Use our Resources

 

The Landscape Institute has documents on Green Infrastructure, Water, Housing, Public Health and Liveability in the Policy section.

 

In the Technical Section, technical guidance is available on biosecurity, LVIA, Olympic legacy, Water, SuDS and BIM.

 

The Member’s Only area of the LI website stores LI reports such as the annual Communications Survey, the Employment and Salary Survey, and governance information.
