Student Membership
For those who are still studying.
Licentiate Membership
For those who have completed their initial professional education, and would like to work towards becoming a fully qualified, Chartered Member of the LI (CMLI) via the LI’s Pathway to Chartership.
Affiliate Membership
For those working in a related area, who would like to become part of the landscape and environment community - and get the benefits of the LI’s networks, publications and services.
Chartered Member of the LI (CMLI)
The LI’s fully qualified grade, recognising members' technical and professional competence. CMLI status is conferred on members on successful completion of the Pathway to Chartership.
Fellowship of the Landscape Institute (FLI)
Awarded to senior members of LI, recognising their talent, expertise and particular contribution to the profession.
Academic Membership
For those contributing to the understanding of landscape, the environment or design through their teaching or research. Academic Fellowship is awarded to those whose contribution has been particularly significant or outstanding.
Retired Membership
Available to former Members and Fellows who are no longer actively working in the profession.
Subscriber
For those who wish to receive the LI’s publications without becoming a Member.
