Halo lights up Haslingden
‘Halo’, an 18m-diameter, circular steel structure by landscape architect John Kennedy, is set to become the centrepiece of a reclaimed former quarry and landfill site in East Lancashire. Work is underway at the 33ha Top O’ Slate site in Haslingden, Rossendale to provide foundations and a setting for the structure, which is clad in white photo-reflective material and has solar-powered panels so that it will glow at night.
