LI hits the road
April and May sees the Landscape Institute hitting the road with a series of road shows to help the profession get to grips with the Pathway to Chartership – the new system which will go live in September this year and replace the existing Professional Practice Examination (PPE)
The Pathway Road Shows have been put together by Simon Rackham, of Simon Rackham Landscape Architects, Polly Kemp, an actress, and Richard Stacey, a teacher, an author of educational materials and a RADA-trained actor, who have been working with the branches and the PPE Working Group.
Speaking to Vista, Simon Rackham said: “The road shows are designed to reach as many of the members as possible and tell them first-hand the reasons for the changes to the Professional Practice Examination, the philosophy behind the changes and the practical details about how it’s actually going to work. We want to give all the members the chance to come along and ask any questions that they may have directly to the PPE Working Group, so that the whole profession can get behind this great step forward.”
