Health and Efficiency
Beyond aesthetic achievement, technical innovation and professional satisfaction, there is the physical manifestation of work. How we regard well-being defines the scope of our ambition. Whether pursuing robust physicality, intellectual clarity, or a state of grace, our surroundings are both means and inspiration. The power of landscape architecture to affect the way we feel on the most fundamental level – well or ill – goes to the heart of what the discipline can achieve. These are all areas in which landscape architecture should and does affect the health of our society. This issue examines how. ~ The Editor Should you wish to request a back issue please contact Malgosia Odell on 020 7299 4537. These are subject to availability.
