August 2006 Issue

The August edition of Landscape looks at the north east of England a remarkable region steeped in history with a landscape diversity that's hard to find elsewhere. Stretching from York to Scotland and halfway across the country, the north east plays host to some of the UK's most valued countryside as well as many of its most deprived and isolated settlements.
