Affiliate Membership of the LI
Affiliate membership is for those working in related professions or areas of expertise who have an interest in landscape and the environment, who would like to join the landscape community and get the benefits of LI’s membership, services and networks.
Benefits of Affiliate Membership include
- Landscape,Vista and eVista: Affiliate Membership includes subscription to the Landscape Journal, the monthly magazine for everyone interested in the transformation of landscape at whatever scale – the private garden, the public realm, major private and public developments, spatial planning, iconic or protected landscapes. It offers the latest thinking and analysis and full details of the best UK and international schemes in the living and built environment. Also included in the subscription is the monthly newspaper Vista which features the latest news, views, products, profiles and job vacancies. eVista highlights upcoming competitions, awards, events and special offers.
- The LI archive and library Open weekdays, the Library offers specialist information services and resources as well as a lending library of over 5000 books and journals. The Library also houses an archive of drawings and plans by landscape architects such as Geoffrey Jellicoe, Peter Shepheard and Dame Sylvia Crowe.
- Branch membership - As an Affiliate Member you automatically become a member of the LI branch for your area, giving you access to professional and social networks, local events and seminars. You can also choose to link to a second branch if you wish – for example if you spend a significant part of your year at another address.
- Publications, services and advice As an Affiliate Member you will have access to the password protected Members section of the LI website, giving you access to a wide range of services, including technical and practical advice, free LI publications, and a host of information to help you in your professional life and career.
- Events Access to events run by the LI and its partners, on the issues that affect landscape and the environment including workshops, exhibitions, seminars, conferences, open days and CPD activities.
The subscriptions outlined below are for the membership year 01/06/08 to 31/05/09.
